Citizenship and Education Conference

Tuesday, 3 November 2015 from 09:00 to 18:00 in Bournemouth House

This day-event is being organised and sponsored by Bournemouth University’s Faculty of Health & Social Sciences and being run in association with the BSA Citizenship Study Group. This event aims to bring together postgraduate students and early career researchers, experienced academics and practitioners specialising in the fields of citizenship and education to share ideas and experiences of work in these fields.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Prof. David James (Cardiff University)
  • Dr Bridget Byrne (University of Manchester)
  • Prof. Jonathan Parker (Bournemouth University)

This event is designed to explore the ways in which citizenship has become intertwined with formal and informal education.

A dinner will be held at 8pm the night before (2 Novemeber 2015). All are welcome but registration is required. Please see the programme for more information and cost.
