Easter vacation opening hours for the BU Careers & Employability Service

easterThe Careers & Employability Service will be open over the Easter Vacation.

You will be able to make appointments to speak with a careers advisor and you can visit the Edge Student Development Centre (outside the library) as follows:-

  • Monday 30 March – Thursday 2 April – 9am – 4.30pm
  • Friday 3 April – Monday 6 April – Closed
  • Tuesday 7 April – Friday 10 April – 9am – 4.30pm
  • Monday 13 – Friday 17 April – 9am – 4.30pm

Spring Break Library opening hours and borrowing

books-bigBoth Libraries will be open over the Spring Break from Monday 30 March to Sunday 19 April: Monday – Thursday 8am- 8pm, Fridays 8am – 6pm. Find full details on the Library webpage.

Please note: Over the Easter bank holiday weekend both Libraries will be CLOSED from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April inclusive.

Library Borrowing

One Week Loan items cannot be borrowed for the entire Spring break.

This is to ensure that key resources are available for students who stay here to study.

You may borrow One Week Loans for a week and renew them for one more week unless they are reserved. Please be prepared to bring or post them back to the Library during the break, if someone else reserves them.

Ordinary Loans can be borrowed for the entire Spring break. (Applies only to BU students/staff.)

BU students may borrow Ordinary Loan books from Saturday 14 March. They will be due back on Wednesday 22 April.

Summer Vacation Opening Hours for the BU Careers & Employability Service

The BU Careers & Employability Service will be open during the Summer Vacation.

All face to face, telephone and Skype careers appointments will be available to book via Careerhub.

The Edge Student Development Centre (outside the library) will be open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm for enquiries and access to careers resources.
