Try travelling by rail with the new BU rail ticket collection machine

trainA new rail ticket machine has been installed at Talbot Campus. Located next to the photo booth in Poole House ground floor corridor, the machine will allow staff and students a flexible and convenient way to collect tickets ordered on-line. To order rail tickets, visit www.thetrainline.com.

If you use the new rail ticket machine before 18 April, you could win a £50 post office voucher. All you need to do is to take a picture of a rail ticket that you have collected from the new machine and then e-mail it to tplangroup@bournemouth.ac.uk. The 10 digit ticket code needs to be clearly visible on your photograph. The winner will be announced on 23 April during the university’s ‘Leave your car at home day’.

The U1 bus service connects the Talbot Campus to Bournemouth Rail station (Dorchester House Stop). The U1 runs up to a 10 minute frequency during term times and a 30 minute frequency during vacation periods. The Lansdowne Campus is a short 5 minute walk from Bournemouth Rail station.
