Wychavon District Council will be visiting BU on 1 and 2 December to promote three 12-month placement opportunities starting in August 2016.

On 1 December there will be a promotional pitch in the Atrium, Poole House, providing information on the three placements:

• Community Development – sports, arts, leisure, events, grants, planning

• Tourism – tourist facilities and attractions, event management, marketing

• Strategy and communications – Community Safety; working with youths in the community from the Youth Bus which tours around the villages of Wychavon.

There will be a presentation on the morning of the 2 December in CG17, Christchurch House, about Wychavon District Council, detailing what the three departments do and what the placement students role will be. Followed by a question and answer session regarding the placement positions. The positions will then be advertised on MyCareerHub with interviews due to be held in early February.

You will also get the chance to hear testimonials from previous placement students to show you what can be achieved in the 12-month placement.
