Part of Eating Disorder Week; Eating disorders in men is commonly perceived as an issue affecting young women however latest statistics show that eating disorders, in fact, have no gender.

Sam Thomas, Founder and Charity Director of Men Get Eating Disorders Too, will deliver an interactive workshop to explore the myths and misconceptions surrounding eating disorders; information on the latest figures, potential causes and risk factors; the barriers men with eating disorders are faced accessing treatment and support and how they can be overcome. The workshop will allow time for discussion throughout and questions and answers. By the end of the workshop participants will have an increased understanding and awareness in spotting the signs and being better equipped to support a male with an eating disorder.
