The United Kingdom and Ireland Association of Forensic Toxicologists (UKIAFT) is the professional body representing the interests and development of forensic toxicology in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. The objective of the Annual Conference is to provide an opportunity for the continual professional development of scientists, students and young toxicologists and also to provide an opportunity for instrument and consumable suppliers to meet with members of the profession to enhance awareness of the latest developments in instrumentation, laboratory materials and reagents.

The conference registration fee includes admission to all lectures, the manufacturer’s exhibition, posters, light refreshments (morning coffee, buffet sandwich lunch, afternoon tea) and the conference dinner on 10th September.

Bournemouth is a popular holiday destination on the south coast of England close to the New Forrest and Jurassic coast and is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches, excellent range of restaurants, shopping, pier and varied range of entertainment. Bournemouth is easily accessed by road, air and train (approximately 2 hours from London Waterloo Station). A direct bus service runs between London Heathrow airport and Bournemouth. Flights are also available into Bournemouth and Southampton airports. Because of the popularity of Bournemouth as a holiday destination it is advisable to book your hotels early.
