If you’re wondering what is going on in the coming May 2015 election and don’t know anything about the parties, what they stand for, where they came from or why they are arguing all the time, then you are not alone.

So why not come to Dylan’s, buy yourself a drink and spend 20 minutes finding out. This is a beginner’s guide to party politics.  An entirely unserious and disrespectful summary of the election race to-date that makes a serious point – Vote, or you will get more of the same.

Talk BU Live is a series of short talks by BU staff or students designed to share ideas and spark debate. Talks are 20 minutes long and take place once a month in Dylan’s bar on Talbot Campus. They are free to attend and open to all staff and students.
