About the event
Part of Eating Disorder Week; during this session, Dr Knightsmith will raise awareness of the early warning signs of self-harm and eating disorders. Sheβll go on to help you to understand some of the reasons why people develop eating disorders and self-harm, and use this understanding to identify some practical ways in which you might be able to provide sustainable support. Parents, friends, teachers and sufferers themselves will find this session useful with down to earth advice that can be used right away.
Facilitated by: Dr Pooky Knightsmith, Charlie Waller Memorial Trust
