Chronic Pain is a challenge: 1 out of 7 people in the UK have chronic pain, it is difficult to manage and presents a significant financial burden in developed countries. Chronic pain is complex and remains one of the most difficult long term conditions to manage.

Whether you are working clinically with people who are in pain, living with pain yourself, or supporting someone in pain, you will know there are no easy answers.

Learn from national leaders in the field at this one day conference. Featuring lectures from Dr Martin Johnson, RCGP Clinical Lead for Chronic Pain, Hon Secretary British Pain Society: Managing pain in primary care – Recent Advances, and Dr Cathy Price, Consultant in Pain Medicine: Getting it right first time for patients. Including short presentations with panel discussions: by pain researchers from Bournemouth University and pain specialists from the Dorset Community Pain Service, workshops, plus lunch and refreshments.
