Bournemouth University Dementia Institute (BUDI) is hosting a one day Masterclass on the financial and legal considerations of supporting or caring for someone with dementia.

This Masterclass will provide you with up-to-date guidelines and knowledge of how to approach these aspects in dementia care. This Masterclass is relevant for anyone who supports people living with dementia or is living with dementia themselves. It will be an interactive and stimulating day covering a range of financial and legal issues in dementia care, including:

  • The Mental Capacity Act
  • Managing personal finances
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Advance Directives
