The highly anticipated new Student Centre opens its doors on Monday 23 March. The impressive building contains high quality space where students can work collaboratively and access a range of services including: SUBU offices, a student advice centre, a cafe, radio and media studios, bookable meeting rooms and access points for student services.

With a new cafe – ‘Ground Up’, which can be found on the ground floor of the building – The Loft will be closed permanently from Monday 30 March. The space will be used to accommodate staff offices for the Faculty of Media & Communication, and conversion work will be carried out during April and May.

If you’re looking for a place to eat or drink at Talbot Campus, there are a number of options:

• Starbucks in The Atrium
• Dylan’s
• The refectory in Poole House
• Costa Cafe in Weymouth House
• Starbucks in the Sir Michael Cobham Library
