The Development Office would like to announce the launch of the Placement and Project Grants which will offer individual awards of £1,000 or up to £5,000 for groups undertaking project work.

This is a new twice yearly initiative that should help students carry out worthwhile placements and projects as part of their continued development. This grant does not apply to the Placement year, but instead applies to work experience/project work undertaken by students outside the placement year.

It is envisaged that the grants will enable all BU students to:

• Undertake placements over and above any placement required to complete their course
• Enable students to undertake projects
• Support sporting excellence, artistic projects and charitable volunteering.
