About the event
This one day conference brings together key stakeholders in health, education, government and families to hear their stories and perspectives with the common goal of supporting breastfeeding to improve public health. This conference provides a forum to improve education and identify new perspectives including diverse cultural, ethnic, health or other barriers along with providing options for mutual support.
The conference will include top speakers on current issues in the field along with small group activities to address issues that limit breastfeeding or access to assistance. It will be an active day with plenty to learn and share.
Keynote speaker: Dr. Margot Sunderland, Author ‘The Science of Parenting’ (paperback title ‘What Every Parent Needs to Know’) and Director of Education and Training, The Centre for Child Mental Health London). Find out more about Dr. Margot Sunderland on her website.
