About the event
This short course will examine the theoretical and philosophical basis of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and explore the practical implications involved in achieving EBP in a clinical, health or social care setting.
- Day one (28 January 2015): What is evidenced based practice?
- Day two (11 February 2015): Appraising the evidence
- Day three (25 February 2015): Change management for implementing EBP
Delivered over one, two or three days you will explore the concept of evidence based practice within contemporary health and social care and the complex nature of evidence within current practice.
There is an option to register for the Developing Evidence Based Practice CPD unit if you wish to achieve 20 academic credits at degree level (Level H). Each day costs £135 to attend. Alternatively, you can attend the Developing Evidence Based Practice course (all three days) for £405.
