Here’s a great article from The Guardian on how to make friends during Freshers Week… and there’s even some advice from a BU student!

For Frankie Wildish, studying English at BU, meeting people was easier than he had expected. “Everyone is shy so I found making the effort to speak to people first helps – invite the people who live near you when you go out, ask people at the bus stop if they’re going to the same place as you, sit next to people in the first few lectures and make conversation.”
