If you’re planning on staying in Bournemouth for Easter, do check the Library opening hours for the Spring Break and the May Bank Holiday.
Both Libraries will be closed over the Easter weekend, Friday 18 April to Monday 21 April inclusive.

Additional quiet study spaces during revision period
To help compensate for any noise or disruption in the Library caused by the construction work on the new Student Centre, we’ve allocated some additional quiet study areas on campus for the period leading up to exams.

14 April – 23 May: CAG03, CAG04, CAG05 and CAG06 have all been set aside for quiet study.
27 May – 6 June: CAG03 is available for quiet study.

Other tips to bear in mind if you’re looking for a quiet place to study:

• No work is carried out on the building site during evenings or at weekends.

• Living and Learning Zones are available – Purple Lounge (Dorset House) and the Peach Tree Lounge (C201).

• If you live near the town centre you might like to study in Bournemouth House Library, the BoHo Lounge or Studland House Open Access Centre.

• BU’s Room Bookings Team will aim to accommodate quiet study needs through the normal room bookings process.
